Excel Pivot Cross Tab reports of live Axapta data.
|
|

Pivot report produces a grouped report of
transactional items published in a worksheet. You can nominate which
fields form the row basis and which fields are used as an overall group.
In addition to the overall grouping, rows can be grouped by up to three
levels, Pivot report allows multiple amount fields to be selected. Pivot
report uses a wizard to build the report; the results are pasted into
your worksheet without formulas being built. Pivot report provides a
snapshot and must be recalculated from saved parameters on demand.

Decide your reported
rows and columns
The Output options tab is
used to define what you want to show on the spreadsheet. You must define
two measures; the row basis and the column basis.
For each measure you can
nominate whether to include descriptions as either merged with the code,
as a description only or without description.
Those entry boxes outlined
in red are mandatory. |

Fast format by
selecting auto-formats
Formatting options extend
to the use of Microsoft Excel’s pivot table Auto-formats and the use
manual formatting. Number styles can be defined which can then be used
on the numeric columns of the report. Atlas uses the default numbers
styles but you can choose to add to these if these are insufficient.
By default, Auto-format
style Report1 and Number Style Comma are selected. |

Tailor formatting with
your own Number Styles
You can add sub-totals for
each group level. Atlas will also include a grand total.
Here the Amount currency
and amount are to be totaled:
