Support Tip
Every Dynamics AX
implementation is different and so Atlas xl has a logging facility to
help us identify and resolve issues. This log file is a
simple text file. See how here.
If
you are going to report a bug or are just unsure what something is
happening it will save a lot of time (especially with time-zones) if you could include the following
- Your Dynamics AX Serial
Number (see how here)
- Your spreadsheet if
possible. If not possible then include a screen
picture
- The Atlas log
file. To turn this on, select the "Log
File Path" menu item inside Excel (Dynamics AX > Preferences
menu). NOTE. Atlas performance is affected when
logging is enabled. Reproduce the error and then turn
logging off again.
- Don't forget to attach
the log file and spreadsheet (or screen picture) to your email.
Thank
you.
